I was born in 1955 and went to Shelby schools. My family owned and operated the General Store and the John Deere dealership. I attended the Ganges Community Church. I had planned on writing a book about the history of Ganges but I’d rather throw a blog out to you every two or three days rather than hit you between the eyes with pages of the typical ‘Ganges was founded in 1815’ stuff. Thanks to a bunch of people who have been kind enough to donate, lend or relate pictures, stories and memories of the past.
